Sashiko Waves

A 5” center block of sashiko-stitched blue waves outlined by a gold thread held in place by borders in medium blue and gold. A bamboo and “chidori” (sea plovers) indigo print flanks the top and bottom, mimicking Japanese scroll mounting. Machine pieced and machine quilted, with batting.
