Silhouetted by the full moon, a bunny charges forth with a stalk of susuki, a pampus grass “banner,” thus marking the end of summer and the change of seasons. The center block and final cinnamon border are decoratively stitched by hand with Japanese sashiko thread. Three borders encase the bunnies with fussy-cut cornerstones of mon (Japanese family crest symbols). Machine-pieced and machine-quilted to hold center layer of batting in place. NOTE: Of the original four pieces in the Bunny Series, there are currently two pieces left. There will be more to come. The center blocks are BLACK, not blue.
