Starting out again with a log cabin technique. What came into my hand from the scrap bag were several vintage aizomekasuri (indigo-dyed woven ikats) in large and small motifs, including the corner piece in the upper left. I added a row of sashiko stitches to call attention to the white threads in the ikats and a “hole-y” seashell from my vast collection. *I later added a bead to the center of the shell to close the gap.
