Amulet Day 49/100

Since I can’t find this kanji in any of my dictionaries, and because it is somewhat crudely executed, I feel that it was hand-drawn with a brush to imitate a festival cart. It seems to have them been then resisted before the indigo dye bath. What do you think? My take is that it was part of the front band of a kimono jacket festival costume, worn by the men who carried the mammoth cart on their shoulders. The Daruma mamori (charm) has eyes that roll out. Do you see them looking at you? In case you don’t know, people usually paint one eye in with a wish or goal, and paint the other eye in when it comes true.
