Crazy and Playful. I used vintage Japanese silk remnant bits in pinks and reds from kimono(s) that would likely have been worn by young girls. Put them in a “crazy” log cabin pattern and adorned it with silly, fun items from the treasure box. The dangle below is from Meiji Shrine. Note: the 16 petal imperial chrysanthemum and the zig-zag paper streamers used in Shinto rituals called a Shide (she-day).
