Susan Faeder’s Fall Fiber Art Exhibit

Dear QE Clients, Friends, & Family,

This is a short email announcement about my upcoming 4th solo exhibition at the Public Library of Union County, located in my hometown of Lewisburg, PA.  Approximately 60 fiber works will be on view, 1/2 of which have never been exhibited before and are NOT on my QEJAPAN website.

As many of you know, my textile art includes not only quilts but also Japanese sashiko embroidery, Japanese Saori rag weaving, and hand-stitched fabric collage—all of which show strong evidence of my love of and travel to Japan whether by technique, fabric choice, composition, subject matter, and/or color.

The exhibition runs from November 4 – November 29 with a public reception set for Saturday, November 4, from 2 – 4 PM. Gallery 255 is open during regular library hours from 9:30AM – 8:30PM on MON, TU, & TH, and 9:30AM – 5 PM on WED, FRI, & SAT, closed SUN. They are closed for Thanksgiving Day, but open the WED before and FRI after. I will be on site as much as possible to greet visitors as is my pleasure, so please do contact me via EMAIL for a private walk through. November is such a gorgeous month of seasonal color change in central Pennsylvania; I hope those of you within driving distance will come!

An icing-on-the-cake bit of news: My 100 Amulets book was recently reviewed by the Surface Design Association and published in their weekly Book Blog email for members. You can read the review HERE. There are less than 75 books remaining and it will not be reprinted. Please contact me directly to order a personalized copy (payable by check), or contact Pretzel City Press (to pay by credit card).

Best regards and well wishes to all,

Susan
