An original pattern by Susan Ball Faeder (owner of QETJ) showing six images relating to Halloween, this pattern is considered an intermediate level pattern because there is cutting and tracing required. All six drawings are included in the pattern. You will cut out and trace them onto your dark blue ground. Instructions for the basic sashiko stitch are also included. Use the layout as shown or create your own layout. This is a good project for people on-the-go because the small squares are portable and easy to handle. We also offer a package of six 6” indigo squares - just for this project. Please inquire.
Although not yet shown on the website, we do carry Japanese sashiko thread in MANY colors (including the orange shown in this example), packages of sashiko needles, and Susan’s favorite markers: a silver pencil and the white powder heart-shaped Chalkoner Japanese marking tool. Please mention if you need these. We also carry authentic hand-dyed Japanese Indigo in several choices, found easily in our
Indigo and Sashiko section.
