Bush Clover (“Hagi” in Japanese) and Bell Flowers (“Kikyo”) – both grasses - reach the peak of their subtle beauty in autumn. In this print they are set against a background of rolling coils of wind that push along stylized clouds of gold and taupe, against a dark green sky. Accent colors are red, lighter green and pink. Produced in Japan and adapted from actual 19th century kimono patterns, these are the most current offerings from the (high-end) Naomi collection, first introduced to the USA quilt market in1995. The extra expense is warranted in the quality of the cotton goods and in the printing-- above and beyond what is generally available in the USA market. If you are intending to quilt this fabric by hand, you are in extreme luck. 44" wide. 100% cotton.
