Developed by Olympus in Japan, an excellent reproduction of the now-obsolete silk TSUMUGI kimono fabric that was first dyed, then buried in the ground, and then brought up and rewoven. With its beautiful texture, dark nubs woven in, and incredible “hand,” this modern version is true to its ancestor. Suitable for quilts, clothing, and sashiko.
